Here is an article about a young man who is a boy scout, replacing a flagpole atop of San Juan Capistrano Hill. His older brother put a flagpole in memory of 9/11 atop of Flag Hill a few years earlier but due to high winds and vandalism, the old pole was heavily damaged. He decided to replace it with a new Fiberglass Flagpole, making a great monument atop of Flag Hill. This was a project we were happy to have been part of.

I just wanted to send you a quick thank you for the 20ft fiberglass flagpole. I had it installed 2 weeks ago, and it is fabulous. It is a surprise for my husband who is returning from his tour with the MA National Guard in Iraq later this month. How appropriate that he will be welcomed home with our American Flag flying in our front yard.

We love our flagpole! We have a river property and each time we look at our flags, we are so happy we bought our telescoping flagpole from you. When we purchased our acreage ten years ago the flag pole already there was rusted with the rope frayed and the pole sitting at an angle after several years of Oklahoma winds...We purchased your telescoping fiberglass flag pole and your 4'x6' Super Duty Nylon Mesh American Flags. The flagpole still looks as beautiful as the day we bought it (still standing straight and true) and we have gone only to your site ever since for replacement flags.

When I first received it, I was a little worried about the thickness of the metal being in KS with nothing to stop the wind. I installed it two years ago and it has seen up to 50mph gusts with a 4x6 flag and had no problem withstanding it. Another concern I had was discoloration of the aluminum, but have seen nothing at all after 2 yrs of hard weather. The halyard is showing no signs of fraying, and the truck works as freely as the day it was installed. We have a large yard and 2 story home with the flagpole in the front. I had a hard time deciding how tall of a pole to get, and I think the 25' pole is perfect. Any smaller and it would get lost in the yard next to the house. The proportions just look right. The pole is exactly what Flagpoles Etc said it is, and it has performed well.

Info while I was installing it. With the help of 2 neighbors we raised the pole. I live in a small community, its become part of the directions to their homes. They always say "look for the flagpole I live 10 homes down on the left"(or their home). As you can tell I have the largest
pole in the area. The flags I show of course is a large US flag on the main pole, and the yard arms I show the
service my family has served in:
-US COAST GUARD flag, My service retired after 28 years, 2006
-US NAVY, the service my brother retired from, 2009
-US MARINE, My Step Dads service during WWII and Korean War
-US ARMY, My Aunt & Uncle served in WWII and my Sister-in-Law, who retired from the ARMY

-POW / MIA, with the Honor / Remember flag

How ironic that I get this e-mail today! I just installed my beautiful AEP 20 footer yestarday. I had no trouble with installation and it really looks great! I had a wonderful experience with your customer service rep, who actually phoned me the day after I ordered my pole. She asked me why I chose that particular pole and suggested I get the better quality pole instead. She offered this better quality pole for the same cost as the lesser quality pole.
