Dead load includes the weight of the flagpole, fittings, accessories, and the flag.
Large Flagpole Premium Materials: A-36 Structural Steel for Commercial-Grade Strength
Constructed from A-36 carbon steel with a 36,000-psi yield point, these flagpoles use the same class of structural material commonly used in commercial bridges, large structures and buildings. Unlike many other monster flagpoles, our colossal flagpoles maintain a consistent .500" wall thickness from top to bottom, preserving strength as the flagpole tapers.
Seamless Construction
Flagpole sections are joined using seamless steel concentric reducers to create a uniform, tapered appearance that looks clean and professional. This precision-fit connection also supports structural integrity at taller heights.

Each colossal flagpole is built for long-term outdoor performance and a clean, professional appearance. Every pole is thoroughly sandblasted, coated with a high-performance, chemically cured epoxy primer, and finished with three coats of aliphatic urethane gloss enamel to support gloss retention, color vibrancy, and durability in demanding conditions. Standard finish color options include white, black, and grey; however, you may choose from over 100 available color options.

Foundation Sleeve
Structural steel ground sleeve with a welded base plate and lightning spike arrestor, designed to enhance grounding, stability, and long-term performance.

Industry-first 16-month warranty on the steel flagpole shaft.

• Internal stainless steel winch system with locking mechanism and removable handle
• Heavy-duty revolving truck & ball assembly featuring a 1.25" stainless steel spindle
• Stainless steel aircraft cable system:
o 1/8" cable (internal)
o 3/16" cable (external) for increased longevity, reduced maintenance, and maximum uptime
• Beaded retainer rings to control flag wrap
• Counterweight system for proper flag positioning
• Large stainless steel flag snaps and connecting links
