Shipping & Delivery Policy – What to Expect

Flagpoles Etc ships within the United States. Shipping timelines and methods vary by product type due to size, weight, and manufacturing requirements.

Please review the sections below carefully before placing your order.

🌍 Shipping Availability & Limitations
We currently ship within the United States only.

Freight shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO/FPO, or locations requiring special routing may require custom arrangements.
Please contact us prior to ordering for approval and accurate shipping cost.


📦 In-Stock Items (Excluding Flagpoles)

Most in-stock items excluding flagpoles ship within 1–3 business days.
    - This timeframe refers to processing time before the order leaves our facility
    - Inventory is updated regularly, but availability may change quickly
    - If an item becomes unavailable after purchase, we will contact you with an updated lead         time.
    - Tracking information is provided once your order ships

📦Components, Accessories & Small Flagpoles

Includes:
    - Components & hardware
    - Accessories
    - Telescoping flagpoles
    - House-mount, indoor & parade flagpoles

Typical ship time:

2–5 business days from order placement
(This refers to the time required to prepare and ship the order. Transit time is additional and depends on the carrier and destination.)

Orders ship via UPS or a comparable ground service.

Custom Orders

Lead times vary by product. Contact us for custom manufacturing timelines.

🏗 Flagpoles - Production, Shipping & Delivery  (Please Read)

Flagpoles are custom-manufactured, oversized items that require specialized production and freight shipping.

Estimated Production Lead Times:
Production time varies by finish, size, and current manufacturing schedules.

Please note: If a specific flagpole has a different production timeline than listed above, the updated lead time will be clearly noted on that product’s page.

Standard Finish Flagpoles: approx. 3–6 weeks
Anodized Finish Flagpoles: (black, bronze, clear): approx 8–10 weeks
Powder-Coated Flagpoles: approx. 9-10 weeks
Nautical Flagpoles with Finish: approx: 10–12 weeks

⚠️ Actual lead times may occasionally extend beyond these estimates due to manufacturing demand, finishing schedules, or material availability within the flagpole industry.

Production must be completed before freight shipment begins.

Freight Transit Time:

Once a flagpole leaves the facility, freight transit time typically ranges from: 
     - 2-4+ weeks
     - Delivery time depends on freight carrier routes, distance, seasonality and weather                      conditions

⚠️ Flagpoles Etc. is not responsible for freight delays once the shipment is in the carrier’s possession.

In-Stock Flagpole Availability

While most flagpoles are produced to order, select sizes and finishes may be available for immediate shipment, depending on current inventory.

Stock availability varies by size, finish, and demand and is not guaranteed. If faster delivery is required, we strongly encourage you to contact us before ordering so we can confirm availability and provide the most accurate lead time.

🚛 Freight Delivery Requirements

     - Flagpoles typically ship on a 53’ semi-truck
     - Customers are responsible for confirming that their delivery location can accommodate          freight delivery
     - Restricted access, incorrect addresses, missed delivery appointments, or inaccessible                sites may result in additional carrier charges

🌊 Special Freight Conditions (Water Crossings)

Freight shipments requiring ferry transport or water crossings are not included in standard freight fees.

If a required water crossing is not disclosed prior to shipment, the order may incur:
     - A $500 administrative fee
     - Plus any additional ferry or carrier-assessed charges

💲 Shipping Charges & Address Corrections

Shipping costs are calculated based on product size, weight, and destination.
Additional charges may apply for:
     - Incorrect or incomplete addresses
     - Failed delivery attempts
     - Carrier re-routing or access restrictions

Address correction fees:

Ground shipments: $20
Express shipments: $35 + re-shipping charges
Freight issues: billed case-by-case
Undeliverable freight may result in return shipping fees and restocking charges.

🔁 Order Changes & Cancellations

Orders are processed quickly.
    - Please review your order carefully before submitting
    - Once an order enters fulfillment, changes may not be possible
    - Flagpoles Etc. is not responsible for invalid addresses or inaccessible delivery locations

📬 Economy Shipping

Economy shipping is available for many flags and components in most states.
Not available for:
    - Flagpoles
    - Wholesale orders
    - Custom or oversized items
    - Bulk shipments


Flagpoles – Customer Responsibility & Freight Damage Claims

Due to the unique size and nature of flagpoles, the following terms apply specifically to flagpole shipments:

Flagpoles - Inspection, Storage Upon Delivery

Inspect the shaft and boxes thoroughly before signing
for delivery.
     - Any visible damage,  must be noted this on the shipping receipt. 
     - Failure to do so may waive your right to a damage claim with the carrier.
     - This step helps identify concealed damage, incorrect sizing, or shipment errors early—preventing costly delays during install.

Storage Guidelines 

If stored indoors or on-site, remove all plastic or paper wrappings and the shipping tube to prevent moisture buildup or damage from condensation.

⚠️ Leaving flagpoles wrapped can cause moisture-related damage. Flagpoles Etc. assumes no responsibility for damage caused by improper storage.

Elevate flagople above ground on sawhorses. Protect the flagpole  with blankets or similar materials.

This step helps identify concealed damage, incorrect sizing, or shipment errors early—preventing costly delays during install.

Warning labels are prominently displayed on packaging and shaft ends. Leaving the wrapping on is done at your own risk. 

Acceptance of Goods

The buyer must notify Flagpoles Etc within three (3) business days of delivery by:

Claims must be submitted for:
    - Shipping damage
    - Shortages
    - Incorrect products

After three business days, goods are considered accepted, and no further claims will be honored.

Freight Damage Resolution

Refuse only the damaged portion of a shipment
Accept undamaged components
Contact Customer Service immediately

Once verified, replacement parts will be shipped and freight claims handled on your behalf.
Orders cannot be cancelled due to freight damage.
