Information on Solar Flagpole lights
The solar flagpole lighting that is used to illuminate your flag is constructed using tempered lens that is sealed with heavy duty weatherproofing materials. This type of lighting is a spot beam that will focus on your flag rather than your entire yard.
What is Solar Lighting?
Solar lights are equipped with special solar panels and a rechargeable battery. During the daylight hours when the sun shines, the panels convert the sun's energy to electricity that is then stored in the batter for later use. The sun is a green, renewable energy source that does not give off harmful gases that will harm the environment.

What is LUX?
Our solar lighting is available in LUX LED. LUX is a measurement of the amount of illumination that is provided. It is basically the brightness of a beam of light. A higher LUX output beam travels further without lighting very much of the surrounding areas. A lower LUX output will travel shorter distances, but light more of the surrounding area.
What is LED?
LED, light-emitting diode, is an efficient, energy saving source of light that is environmentally friendly. These lights take very low voltage to operate and generate very little heat, unlike incandescent bulbs. The LEDs in our solar lights are rated to last up to 20 years or longer before they need to be replaced.
Which Solar Light Should I Purchase
Our solar lighting is available in LUX ranging from 60 to 840 and mount directly on your flagpole. You must choose a light that will fit your pole. Because most flagpoles are larger at the butt than at the top, you will need to know the diameter of the portion of the pole where you prefer to position the light. For example, if your flagpole is two inches in diameter at the point where you want to install the light, you must pick a light that it will fit a two inch flagpole in its specifications.
What is Included
The items that are included with solar lights depend on the model that you choose. In general, you will receive the following.
- Solar light battery and panel
- Lights - LEDs rated to last 20 years
- Clamps to attach the equipment to the flagpole
- Dusk to dawn photo eye sensor that turns your light on at dusk and turns it off at dawn
